What is band lubrication?

Belt lubrication is a process used in the field of dosing technology. It serves to apply lubricants to metal belts in a uniform and controlled manner. The aim is to reduce friction and wear and tear, as well as to minimise material consumption and environmental impact.

State-of-the-art technology allows oiling to be carried out without contact using various nozzles and valves. The amount of lubricant (mineral oil, synthetic oils or bio-lubricants) is variable.

Large areas are lubricated just as easily and evenly with conveyor belt lubrication as very small areas with minimal quantities. Lubricating small areas involves minimum quantity lubrication (MQL). Experts adapt the conveyor belt lubrication systems individually to the existing infrastructure and integrate them.
