Fat supply systems

Grease supply systems deliver lubricating grease to lubrication points either centrally or decentrally. Common concepts include single-line, dual-line and progressive systems, supplemented by pumps, distributors, pressure monitoring, lines and seals. The aim is to deliver the right amount at the right time – regardless of line length, temperature or viscosity. The advantages are: less manual intervention, consistent supply, less contamination and predictable maintenance.

The necessary planning steps consist of: identifying lubrication points, determining quantities/intervals, calculating pressure losses, selecting suitable components and monitoring. Clean installation, filtration at the source and clear labelling are important. Status data (pressure switches, cycle monitoring) indicate malfunctions at an early stage. When properly designed, such systems increase service life, reduce downtime and lower total operating costs.
