The material pressure accumulator ensures pulsation-free and exact supply of the metering valves with highly viscous liquids or pasty lubricants. Commercially available supply systems deliver the medium at a relatively high, pulsating pressure. Here, 100 bar is not uncommon. In contrast, lubricants change their properties at high pressure and metering valves are usually designed for a pressure range of 1-6 bar. The material pressure accumulator reduces the high, pulsating input pressure and keeps the output pressure constant in a finely adjustable range of 0.1 to 6 bar precisely and without pulsation.

The maintenance-free material pressure accumulator serves as a balancing system between supply systems and metering units for highly viscous and pasty media. Up to a maximum inlet pressure of 200 bar, the material pressure accumulator ensures that the medium pressure set on the outlet side is made available to the metering valves or spray valves constantly and without pressure fluctuations.
